The global platform of the Eurasian Women's Forum

The global platform of the Eurasian Women's Forum is a joint initiative of the Innosocium Foundation and the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum.

Ensuring women's and men's equal participation in the global economy is one of the major issues on the agenda. The demand for qualified staff is rising, innovative solutions and approaches are playing an increasingly important role, and life expectancy is ticking upward. All this has transformed the female role in the contemporary world. Society, modern institutions and infrastructure are not always ready to embrace change, so interaction needs to be developed at the level of individual initiatives and projects, large corporations, local communities, government bodies and development institutions; we must reach out to the international community to exchange best practices in gender equality.

The platform will contribute to the effective development of international cooperation, encourage female participation in advanced industries, digital economy and international cooperation. It will create better means of social mobility for women.”
Valentina Matviyenko,
Chairperson of the Federation Council

In today's fast-paced world, women are playing an increasingly important role in dealing with social, economic and humanitarian challenges. The rise of female entrepreneurship helps overcome poverty, create new jobs and curb unemployment. Moreover, large companies with active female participation in decision-making show better financial performance. Women's economic empowerment is one of the highly relevant and widely discussed issues nowadays.”
Galina Karelova,
Deputy Chairwoman of the Federation Council

The platform helps women's project initiators explore the latest trends and decision-making alternatives in both commercial and non-profit sectors. They are encouraged to share their best practices through publications, speeches at events and special competitions.

The platform is aimed at consolidating the information and analytical work of the EWF, paving the way for selection of viable projects in the regions of Russia, supporting them and helping them upscale to become large macro-regional initiatives. The platform's project format facilitates meeting the forum's objectives and ensures a high level of transparency for all participants and partners of the Eurasian Women's Forum.

The project format implies:

Streamlined preparation and support of initiatives, projects and events;

Regular follow-up to ensure that the portfolio of initiatives, projects and activities shows good performance;

Broad involvement of outsourcing resources and volunteers (project managers, experts, project participants) and cooperation with communities.

Mutual support and resource sharing enable many women to achieve their ambitions, while the effective positioning of the initiatives and projects on the portal boosts donations from sponsors and private persons, thus making the dream come true even sooner.”
Elena Marinina

The platform is designed to facilitate preparation and support of events and projects that are consistent with the objectives of the Eurasian Women's Forum. It is aimed at opening up communication opportunities for partners sharing the Forum's values and participating in joint projects. The events of the Eurasian Women's Forum are maintained to a high standard and are one of the most important tools for promoting specific initiatives and projects. The platform enables community members to use a single organisational resource to manage public activities.

Pooling experiences from women from all over Eurasia creates fantastic conditions for the initiation and development of new projects. The platform will provide access to the best analytics and leading experts on the changing role of women in the modern world, as well as give support to women and girls in business, administration and the social sector.
